THE INSECURITY AND THE FOUR DEADLY TRAPS IN MANDERA COUNTY   

Why the poorest countries (in this case the Counties) are failing and what can be done about it? Mr. Paul Collier-the author of the book (The Bottom Billion :) discussed 4 primary reasons that coursed this permanent failure. I only discuss 3 of the 4 traps and add other 1trap of my own analytical insight in respect to the situation on the ground in Mandera. These traps are as follows.

1. Weak governance in the county- Initially, before the promulgation of the new constitution or rather devolution came the power to employ and rule was completely in the hands of the national government. This was done by merit mostly. People use to struggle for studies thus leaders were then competent and doing their job wisely because they were answerable to the then only government. Now the chain for command is too long. The chain contains incompetent and inept leaders who were don’t care in nature. They lied to the people and eventually coned their votes.

The World Bank defines public sector governance as the way the state or the county acquires and exercises its authority to provide and manage public goods and services, including regulatory services. Did we comply with this?

2. Conflict- Almost three-quarters of the people in Mandera County live in conflict or post- conflict and constant fear.

Collier reports his and Hoeffler’s striking findings that conflict (both civil wars and coups) is little related to the intensity of political repression or the depth of historical grievances. (.Rebels usually have something to complain about, and if they don’t, they make it up) Rather, violence is best predicted by poverty, lack of growth, dependence on misgoverned resource wealth, and a previous history of civil conflict or coups.

Between 60%-70% of the graduates youths in the county are not employed due to conflict and post conflict accompanied by tribe issues, therefore they will only have few options, Either to join the black listed groups or rob the innocent Civilians because they don’t meet their expectations and hopes in the county. County Job employments are not based on merit, skills and education but based on ‘‘WHOM’’ you have in the corrupt system. The criteria for employment is ‘‘whom you know NOT what you know’’. Almost every person is grieved and oppressed by this regime. The conflict is accompanied by Injustices, highly respected Corruption, malfunctions of democracy through patronage politics, and often, autocracy. This is how the county system is run. I think we are using the wrong approach to sustain or fine security in Mandera.

3. Mismanaged dependency on natural resources. Mandera County is a resource dependent county. The county further gets close to Ksh 9billion every fiscal year from the national government. Yet the leaders are on the periphery of failure. Look, the distribution of recourses to the 6 constituencies in the county? Is it equally, fairly and faithfully distributed? Why the county TENDERS are repeatedly cancelled and taken to court? Think of it. Resources are absolutely mismanaged and the billions are completely misused and siphoned off to unknown places.

 The gap between the poor and the rich are widening day by day. The poor is getting poorer and the rich is getting richer. This is economical disorder and needs urgent remedy.

4. Existence of Council of elders. These are very powerful old men composed between 15 to 20 men headed by Ugas.This elders have became a cancerous cell in the heart of many Manderian. They infringed the constitution, resources and other opportunities in the county. They gave orders to almost all county leaders including the governor and the senator plus their cohorts.

This is the fact and every person in Mandera and the nationwide knows about it. Luckily, some individuals are wholeheartedly working to get a solution for these 4 dead-end traps.

 Manage these four (4) traps if you want our security to be 100% okay. I’m not anti-government, I love peace and good security in Mandera, but I have discovered the approaches to peace and security issues in Mandera. Our leaders do aware the solutions for all these menace, if they do with it, their personal interest will get crushed and therefore, the only way forward is to not get involve at all.

 Al-shabab claims of Mpeketoni and kibaoni Attack on Sunday night are fake and baseless. But the most ridiculous, farcical and silly things are, how on earth the attackers or enemies can re-attack such heightened security Area once again and again? Are our security officers fake, hoax or sham? What is really going on within our police? Many questions but few answers.

Political mayhem, competition amongst the hungry-power individuals and impatience has contributed much of the devastations and the massacre in kenya.This put the country into economical crises and death of faith amongst Kenyans.

This is the worst terror attack-waves ever before in Kenya history, the people who should have save the country and its people as well, turned to a hungry wolf. They milk, humiliate and torture the ordinary civilians.

 Assassinating people and killing them secretly may not be the solution to these current crises. There are many other ways to solve this problem. Look for example leaders who tried to rule with iron-fist, rule and divide style, killing and oppressing their oppositions like Sadam Hussein ,Siyad Bare ,Idi Amin of Uganda and Muamar Al-Gadaffi of Libya and so on so forth…..

The list is endless…

Read history. History repeats itself. History guides.

Blames doesn't help. Killings don’t aid. What helps are healthy discussions, dialogues and better decision making process. This can save the country. In the past few months or rather years many renowned Religious leaders were assassinated. This was very bad annoying act. These include:

Sheikh Aboud  Rogo was killed On 27^th August 2012 . On October 4^th 2013 Sheikh Ibrahim Omar was killed innocently. On 6^th December 2013 Imam Hassan Suleiman Mwayuyu was killed too. On 1^st April 2014 Sheikh Abubakar Sharif known as Mkaburi was also killed in Mombasa. Recently On 10^th June 2014 Sheikh Mohamed Idres an imam of sunny mosque was killed in Mombasa brutally. No one was ever brought to book. Even the pastors were killed on cool blood event. One 21^st October 2013 Pastor Ibrahim Kithaka was killed and on 20^th October 2013 Pastor Cherles Mathole was killed while preparing Sunday session.

This means insecurity is on the rise since jubilee government took the steering of this country , they took us to the dark days of Kenyatta and Moi’s  regimes where people were killed, maimed ,raped and finally burnt in large number thus leading to massacre  or even genocide. Remember the WAGALLA massacre in Wajir County which happened in 1982.No one, up to now is prosecuted for that.

Despite having a beautiful constitution if I may but it, the worst criminal record holders in the country are the best today in Kenya. who judges who?  Or who sue who? It’s hard to answer, not only me but all Kenyans.

Very recently armed thugs’ shots the former Mungiki and a church leader Maina Njenga killing 5 other people. Two great doctors were also killed in Meru.

Now the country is divided politically. Tribalism and clannism is high. We fear Sectarianism, bigotry, discrimination, and hatred arising from attaching importance to perceived differences between subdivisions in the country at large. Many countries mostly in ASIA are in risk of such diseases.

Many Somalis businessmen have relocated their businesses to the neighboring countries like Uganda and Tanzania. Others are in the process of moving their business from the country. This created mistrust and slow-down of the GDP of the country. People predict this as a signs of faint, dim and subdued future of the country. May GOD forbid? Eman…Amin

I’m here this bright evening to air my sincere and Alarm raising voice and welcome all the students from Mandera North constituency to share the grievance with.
I have been receiving many calls from many university and secondary students who have been neglected by the leaders and the CDF committee in the constituency because of their mandates to oversee the disbursement of the Fund. Yet the money meant for the constituency Development Fund have been misappropriated, misused and disbursed very unfairly by the leaders. Therefore I wish to tell you that all of us have the right to be heard equally, the right to express and the right to sue…….
 If you are student from that particular constituency and felt that you are neglected by the leaders because of ABC  it’s your high time to join the grieving team on the ground and then you will be definitely be helped.
Indeed it is a grave matter to be adhered to. Many students have missed the opportunity due corrupt extortionist.

Gay is a person who is sexually attracted to people of their own sex. gayism is the Act of attracting to people of their own sex. Gayism is gay, pure and simple. The gayest of gays. Different people may call it different names- sodomy homosexual, a queer, gay and so forth.

Homosexuality is a mental disorder that causes dangerous sexually transmitted Infections that are incurable and inoperable . These Includes:

·         Chlamydia

·         Cytomegalovirus ( CMV)

·         Genital warts

·         Gonorrhea

·         Hepatitis B

·         Herpes

·         HIV$ AIDS

·         Human papillomavirus ( HPV)

·         Intestinal parasites

·         Molluscum contagiosum .

·         Pelvic inflammatory diseases (PID)

·         Pubic lice ( crabs )

·         Scabies

·         Syphilis

·         Trichomoniasis ( Trich)

There are many others that I can’t mention in this context now. It is my believe that the homophile will pay heed of the seriousness of the Act.

Whoever practices the Act is automatically vulnerable all the Above diseases which will  lead to  automatic  Death in the short or long term run.

The practice has started in 1892 in the US and spread gradually to other parts of the world. Unfortunately Obama bin Hussein a son of muslim Kenyan man is supporting the Act in the world especially in Africa and other 3rd world countries. Since when has homosexuality, lesbianism and being gay become a human right and democracy? These are unethical, deceitful, devious, wicked and evil and as such it should be avoided by all.

If Obama and his friends truly believe this, why don’t they divorce their wives and spearhead LGBT?  In fact they know it is a Bizarre, outlandish and beast Act. No wonder they are supporting it anyhow!!!!!!!!!!!

Therefore they are inappropriate, distractive, unsuitable, unfitting, and unbefitting. They are careless to their own society.

 Obama vowed to cut ties and relationship with Uganda because Yoweri Museveni, the president of  Uganda  enacted  Anti-gay Legislation that punishes all those who engage in sodomy. It is unbelievable act and competent and able leader can’t legalize it. It means we are killing the whole of humanity in half a day. Therefore we term the sentimentalism of the president of United State of America, as an intellectual poseur.

                      

Is like these gentlemen have forgotten the impasse and negative effect of the Act to all families whose bread winners got involve into the practice. There will be mismatch of population characterized by woman losing their male partners to other male partners. Therefore the right of sex and women is misled and violated very seriously.

The Act is imported to Africa. it is Neocolonialism – which is geopolitical practice of using capitalism, business globalization, and cultural imperialism to influence countries, in lieu of either direct military control or indirect political control. that is why Uganda is threatened today by the so call Washington.

Logically, in Africa countries we have other fundamental issues be tackled rather than a dirty one like  gayism and lesbians. People are dying of hunger, diseases, and other inevitable factors.

  

Let’s see what GOD, the Creator has said about the disastrous Act.

وَلُوطًا إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦۤ أَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡفَـٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِہَا مِنۡ أَحَدٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٨٠) إِنَّڪُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَہۡوَةً۬ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ‌ۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ۬ مُّسۡرِفُونَ (٨١)

Translation (interpretation of meaning):

We also (sent) Lut: he said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? (80) "For ye practise your lusts on men inpreference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." (81)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

مَنْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ يَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ فَاقْتُلُوا الْفَاعِلَ وَالْمَفْعُولَ بِهِ

Whomever you find doing the actions of the people of Lut then kill the one doing it, and the one it is done to

The Bible also said about the Act;

GOD created both man and woman. They perform different duties satisfactorily, in terms of sex etc. why do you need to involve homosexuality we can heterosexuality?

Now, can Obama or any other leader legalize what God has prohibited? Let’s not be deceived ladies and gentlemen, homosexuality, lesbianism, gay bisexual and transgender are immoral, unscrupulous Machiavellian practice that has no place in this world.

The Acts has NO any benefits, welfare or well-being to any ordinary human being at all. Let’s not dishonestly swindle and defraud the innocent people in order to gain an advantage. If the Act has an importance start practicing for yourself first.

 Look the people who practices it, they are stigmatized; their physical appearance is changed and they look half a man. This indicates that the Act is unnatural and non-indigenous absolutely. Furthermore, it didn’t incorporate with any culture and as well put our society in a very difficult position. 

I encourage the people of Uganda, Kenya and the 3rd world counties to reject and spurn Obama’s campaign completely.”

CAN WE FACE CORRUPTION AND SAVE KENYA?

Corruption reached it's peak here in Kenya and it's now officially epidemic. It became the norm and it infiltrated in all spheres of life in this country. All dealings are riddled with corruptions, bribe, fraud and misappropriation of funds. It's of a grave concern to the ordinary citizen to hear these days of a company named CHINA ROADS AND BRIDGES CORPORATIONS. This company is said to be serving as a cover for more sinister dealings to embezzle funds from the government.

Honestly, Kenyans need to know what is REALLY going on? Why are we put in the dark? or we are being fooled and our sovereignty compromised? why is the leadership class behaving like thieves who want to steal all the times?
The reality is, the country is plagued by this epidemic from the leaders to the ordinary citizen, from town to the villages, literate and illiterate. Dishonesty governs our dealings with our fellow citizens.

CHINA ROADS AND BRIDGES Kenya LTD has not filed annual return with the registrar of companies for more than 6 years as it was required by the Law of Kenya. Neither did the Chinese firm comply for the last 30 years. It is a heart-breaking freak , aberration, rarity and oddity. Are these companies operating in the tropical rain forest or the Amazon jungle?

This shows the total failure of the whole system. The checks and balance system that were supposed to curb this kind of malpractices are no longer working and fraudulent companies or individuals can easily bypass them. We are, certainly, heading to the wrong direction as a nation. We are in the danger zone.

Wittily, these two companies are registered with similar names only meant to confuse the system and commit a fraud and misuse of billions of tax payers money. We honestly need to know which company was awarded the multibillions railway gauge contract since they bear the same name? Although that remains a mystery, any intelligent citizen can guess what is being cooked behind the scenes.

Its a conventional fact that with these practices we are NOT going to move forward as a nation. We already have unsolved issues concerning the current leadership's involvement in the 2008 Post election violence that lead to atrocities that are not yet settled. Can we, as a nation, sustain a total economic failure at this point of time? No, we can't. To avert that, we have to stop these corrupt leaders and help the initiatives that counter their greedy behavior. We should NOT give criminals a free reign to destroy this beautiful country of ours and every citizen has a personal responsibility to play his role.

I believe Kenyans can throw off the shackles of poverty and backwardness only, and ONLY when we face these problems as a nation regardless of our political, tribal or ideological affiliations because, at the end, It's us who will have to bear the brunt of the of the consequences of the irresponsible actions of our leadership.

It's time we say enough is enough.

TRIP TO ISRAEL; OPEN LETTER TO MANDERIANS PEOPLE.

I believe I have all the reasons to say that Israel is an evil state that is totally isolated by most of the members of the International Community. A visitor from another planet would have every reason to report back home that the greatest problem on earth is the Jewish state . Israel is the size of the US state of New Jersey and smaller than El Salvador, and although its population is smaller than that of Sweden, Burundi, and Bolivia, yet it is the most censured, upbraid and scold country in the United Nation's history.


The people of Mandera are greatly worried and disappointed of the information coming from some of the leaders of the county that they have an interest in visiting the evil state of Israel under the pretext of learning new agricultural technology know-how. That is simply an absurd suggestion.


Israel is a small country that has mostly renowned for evil activities, practices such as endless war crimes, unspeakable violence, inhumane treatment, assassinations, displacement of the Palestinian people from their own land and so many Satanic Acts that could not be concluded in this context.


“The EU condemns and denounces the use of violence that has produced a high number of victims among the members of the (Free Gaza) flotilla.”


“Spain unequivocally condemns, berate the Israeli attack on the humanitarian flotilla and it does so as a country and as the acting president of the EU Council”.


Israel conspires to destroy free countries and vows to attack them, also annihilate and obliterate the people of Gaza who were under siege for so long, keeping 1.5 million human beings in a open space prison. our eyes are wide open and we know what the Jews are doing.


The whole world has been condemning Israel for long now. and will continue to censure, revile, and chastise it forever. NOW are our leaders are planning to imitate , copy and learn the same activity from the Jewish state?. We reprimand, rebuke and condemn that intended tour and the misuse of the tax payers' money in an irresponsible way. I encourage my fellow county-mate to lambaste and harangue against this plan.


Unless we want to create more problems than we have, we need to cooperate with other eminent and experts from other distinguished and illustrious countries in the world that we can emulate and learn from them . Why do we go to such a small, aggressive and censured state?


The people of the county must know that the negative propaganda surrounding the state of Israel is only aimed to white-wash the hash reality that Israel a no good state. and the suggestion that we need its technology shows only intellectual bankruptcy.
